Oaklands is an approved service provider for Crime Victim Assistance (CVAP), Service Canada employees (EAP HealthCanada) and First Nations Health programs (Crisis, Telehealth, Residential School etc). Your costs may be fully covered for some issues.
Other EAP (Employment Assistance Providers) and extended health plans also provide partial or total coverage for either Reg’d Clinical Counsellor or Reg’d Social Work services. Check with your service provider for details prior to your first session. Where pre-approved, you pay for a session then submit your receipt for reimbursement (i.e. Sunlife, Greenshield, ManuLife, Great West Life, Blue Cross, etc.).
My professional fees are set in accordance with the fee schedule provided by the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, but a sliding scale system may be available for those in difficult financial situations. Please call to discuss circumstances and possible options. Counselling services are also a tax-deductible medical expense. We accept cash, credit card, cheque. E-transfers accepted when sent prior to sessions.
Clinical Counselling (RCC) $100.00/hr. First session 1.5 hours no additional charge.
Social Work Services (RSW): 95.00/hr.
Supervised Visitation or Written Reports $120./hr.
Psychiatric Support Worker (accompanied by primary) $95./hr.
PWD Assessment-Part 3 (Fee covered by Province).
Site/home visits (palliative, loss, family or individual) $95./hr.plus travel
Fees are due at the end of each session. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and cheque. Sorry, we do not accept debit transactions.
MISSED APPOINTMENT AND LATE POLICY
Your appointment time has been reserved especially for you, which prevents others from accessing services. Therefore, 24 hours cancellation notice is required or a no-show fee equivalent to the full session fee will be charged (except in the case of an emergency, such as illness).
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered to have missed their appointment and a no-show fee equivalent to the full session fee will be charged (except in the case of an emergency).
