In-Person Counselling

The Oaklands office provides a safe, comfortable and private setting where you can share your experiences without judgment. During the first appointment, we will cover the limits and protections of confidentiality, review key aspects of your history, and clarify what you hope to work on. Together, we’ll create a plan that we will continue to refine, adjusting it as your needs change and on how you’re feeling.

Some of the therapies and services we offer include:

  1. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Integrative Therapy work for tackling personal and workplace challenges.
  2. Compassion fatigue or burnout (yes, there is a difference!).
  3. Individualized supports to explore and overcome childhood trauma (CPTSD, attachment, somatic and trauma bonding issues).
  4. Occupational and Traumatic Stress Injury counselling
  5. Issues around Identity, self-esteem, recovery from violence, difficult relationships, workplace stress and more.
